Villa dining

For many, delicious local cuisine is a highlight of any trip to Thailand, and at Villa Yin you’ll have the chance to explore Thai culinary delights with the villa’s talented chef available to advise on and prepare all meals fully customised to your tastes.

The extensive menu lists mostly Thai dishes but a selection of Western dishes is also available, and any special requests and dietary restrictions may be discussed with the chef.  Seafood aficionados will want to try a barbecue feast with a choice of imported and locally sourced delicacies including Phuket lobster, tiger prawn and blue crab.

Meals at Villa Yin are of five-star quality yet are very reasonably priced, with provisions charged at market cost plus a 20% surcharge.  Guests are requested to provide a float in advance for groceries, and the staff will handle all the shopping and keep the receipts for reference when settling the bills.

Villa staff

One of the many highlights of a stay at Villa Yin is the luxury of being pampered by a team of staff who tailor their service to accommodate your group’s needs and preferences.  Some of the villa’s six-strong staff live on site (in staff quarters tucked discreetly away from the guest areas) and are available 24/7. This capable team also take care of guests at neighbouring Villa Yang.

Villa manager

Acting as a liaison between guests and villa staff, your English-speaking villa manager is also the go-to person for all your holiday needs, including meal planning at the villa, restaurant, transport and tour bookings.

The villa’s talented chef prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks with an emphasis on Thai cuisine.  Meals can be selected from an extensive suggestion menu, while special dietary needs and other special requests will be accommodated whenever possible.

Housekeeping staff take care of all the daily cleaning and tidying up, as well as assisting with kitchen and dining service.

Pool & Garden

Maintenance staff handle regular pool cleaning and gardening duties at the villa.

Ask the villa manager to bring in a local spa therapist and enjoy a private treatment in the comfort of Villa Yin’s terrace, bedrooms or living areas.  Refer to the spa menu for the massage, manicure and other treatments on offer.

Estate security staff work rotating shifts 24 hours a day.

Families activities

With their privacy, flexibility and dedicated staff, luxury villas make ideal family holiday escapes, and Yin is no exception.  Though its extensive art and antique collection may make it less suitable for those travelling with young children, Villa Yin’s service and comforts are poised to create magical memories for all who stay here.

Families will have their villa all to themselves, giving children and adults alike the freedom to explore and enjoy it without interruption.  Yin’s multiple living areas, both indoors and out, offer comfort and plenty of space for all, and the projector screen in the media room provides an immersive movie-watching experience that everyone is bound to appreciate.

If mum and dad fancy a night out without the kids, the manager can organise for a babysitter to come to the villa (extra charge applies).  A high chair and baby cot are available on request while other items such as car seats can be hired from reputable local agencies to save you the hassle of travelling with cumbersome equipment.

Villa Yin’s full-time chef will make family mealtimes a breeze by tailoring dishes to appeal to even the pickiest of eaters.  This is a great opportunity for kids to explore Thai cuisine through child-friendly and delicious choices such as chicken satay, khai jiao (Thai omelette) or pad Thai noodles.

Phuket is a family-friendly destination with many activities and sights that will delight children.  Take a look at our Things to Do page for a start and check the villa’s guide book for more ideas on suitable tours and activities.  For more recommendations and help in arranging transport and bookings, consult with your villa manager.

    Spa experience

Reflecting the balance evoked by their names, Villa Yin and sister Villa Yang, are fabulous retreats for restoring body and mind.  Enjoy a soothing spa session in the privacy of your villa with a recommended local therapist.  Try a vigorous Thai massage or rejuvenating beauty treatment in the cool air-conditioned comfort of Yin’s spacious bedrooms, in the shade of the sala, or while taking in the sea views on a poolside sunbed.  Just let the villa manager know your requirements and she will be pleased to organise the rest.

    Traditional Thai massage

An ancient technique developed some 2,500 years ago that remains a key part of Thai healing practice.  Traditional Thai massage is an energising therapy that combines stretching, manipulations and rhythmic compressions to stimulate flow along the ‘meridians’ of the body without using oil.

    Aromatherapy massage

A therapeutic, holistic massage technique that uses blends of essential oils customised to each individual’s personal needs.

Give your hands and feet a deserving treat with a manicure or pedicure, with the added bonus of a hand or foot massage.

    Villa Yang

Villa Yang is just a stone’s throw from its neighbour, the five-bedroom Villa Yin. Both holiday getaways, located on Phuket’s ‘Millionaires’ Mile’, make a blissful base for large groups who enjoy travelling together.

Villa Yin, 5 bedrooms – Kamala Beach, Phuket holiday rental villa Elite Havens

Privately situated on an exclusive hillside estate near Kamala Beach, Yin is a five-bedroomed haven that blends modern Thai architecture into the lush forested hillside.  As far as possible, the original tropical landscape has been left undisturbed, as can be witnessed by the three-metre boulder that juts up through one of the villa’s terraces.  Captivating interiors are adorned with antiques from across Asia and a daring, carefully curated art collection featuring pieces as diverse as the instantly recognisable pop art of Andy Warhol to the compelling human struggles depicted by contemporary Chinese artist Shi Lifeng.

The villa comprises a series of pavilions that cascade down the hillside to offer fantastic sea views from every room, with stylish and comfortable furnishings providing inviting places to relax and entertain.  The large, open-plan living and dining pavilion features a dark-wood peaked ceiling and black flooring but the tone is far from sombre with three walls of glass, fascinating art accents and plush leather sofas.

Villa Yin’s expansive terraces, including a sun-lounger-topped deck alongside the 18-metre pool, are picture-perfect spots to relax and unwind, or to stage an intimate wedding or special event.  Other top-notch facilities include an outdoor dining area with built-in barbecue, a large sauna, a media room with projector screen, and a wine cellar.

The awe-inspiring king-bedded master suite, with its stunning artwork, enormous dressing room and exotic bathroom, will be coveted by couples, while two bright guest bedrooms offer private retreats with king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms and ocean-view balconies.  A guest pavilion with a king-bedded room and a living area that converts to a fifth bedroom, sits on the villa’s top level with superb views from its wide furnished deck area.

Guests at Villa Yin are treated to the service of a talented team of full-time staff including a friendly and efficient manager and Thai chef.  Dining is an absolute delight here; mouth-watering meals are served with flair by the skilled chef.  If you wish to explore the island, your villa manager will be happy to help you book golf tee-off times, yacht trips or dinner reservations, or to hire a taxi to take you to the nearby beaches of Kamala or Patong.
